As Founder and Chief Executive Offer of Youth Off The Streets, I would like to thank everyone who attended our 20th Year Anniversary Black Tie event on Saturday (August 27). I would particularly like to thank the Honourable Barry O’Farrell, Premier of New South Wales, and patrons Sir William and Lady Helen Deane for attending the event. Also I would like to thank Channel 7 presenter David Koch for doing a tremendous job as Master of Ceremonies on the night, the musicians for the entertainment, the Northern Beaches Social Riders for their voluntary contribution and long-time supporter and actor, Eric Bana, for attending on the night.
The night, held at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, was a huge success and the organisation received an outstanding show of support from the community for the work that we have done over the last 20 years. The support shown on the night towards our services really highlights the difference that we, as a community, can make in the lives of our disadvantaged young people. Having provided assistance for more than 50,000 young people in the past two decades, our goals are set high for the future in supporting more young people to become empowered in discovering greatness within and to making positive life choices.
Thank you to all who attended the celebrations, your little contribution will make a world of difference in the lives of our young people.
