Not one of the six other councillors supported taking urgent action to protect other significant trees from the fate of the Chinderah Fig, or to oppose shooting in Nightcap National Park, classified as World Heritage.
Not one other Councillor wanted a report on the impact of developers on small business or the community in Council’s $300 million roads shortfall.
Nor did they want a report on what it would take to avoid further dam building, or on how much the final end cost of a dam would be.
The majority gave in principle support for commercial wakeboarding in Fingal and Chinderah despite an unequivocal Council recommendation for refusal.
