The media never ceases to amaze me! You are flat out turning on the TV without coming across a show telling you how terrible Hitler and his mates were but, when there’s a show about the Roman Empire, there’s nothing but praise!
The Romans made Hitler and his crew look benevolent by comparison! The Romans were by far the worst barbarians in history! They killed and maimed millions when the world’s population was measured in millions. They destroyed the environment wherever they went. Hitler and his cronies tried to wipe out the Jews, who are basically Arabs who follow Judaism, not a separate race as some claim, and failed. The Romans succeeded in completely wiping out the Druids who were the priest class of the Celts, both in Briton and Europe. And last, but not least, the Roman idea of mass entertainment was watching humans kill each other, be slaughtered by wild animals, or slaughtering wild animals. They were sick units down to the last of this vile breed!
That’s why, by giving themselves lead poisoning and growing progressively weaker till the Huns, then the Goths, Visigoths and any other marauder who felt like it, raped and pillaged them out of existence, is the most classic case of poetic justice I’ve ever heard of! They got just what they deserved in the end!
