Vote below the line

Along with a large group of concerned members of the Armidale community, I attended the ‘Meet the Candidates’ seminar  last  Sunday, and again on Tuesday.
There are obvious concerns as to the long term direction of Armidale and some excellent independent candidates are willing to try and inject  some new ideas into a council administration that is clearly moribund in its approach to growth and development .
The Greens and Liberals, as is their way, have presented themselves in blocks, for the lazy voter, who do not wish to think about the consequences of their vote.
However, if your readers truly value their vote and the future direction of Armidale, then I would urge them to vote below the line, choosing independents in their own order of preference and leave the party politics and trickery in Sydney and Canberra where it belongs.
