This Saturday is crunch time for Tweed residents. Do we want a Council which does deals with developers? Or do we want a Council which supports sensitive and sustainable development and protects our unique ecosystem and lifestyle?
Of course plenty of jobs is the key to a thriving economy. But at what price? Do we want to bulldoze and pollute this beautiful shire to make way for a sea of roofs? Or do we want to promote ecotourism and the green jobs it creates?
I urge your readers to visit Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and cuddle a koala (which is now on the endangered list) before casting their vote on Saturday.
