I am an Australian born person married to a foreigner. My husband was refused a visa to come to Australia to live with me and therefore we have to live in two separate countries.
He is a highly intelligent person, has applied by the book, paid for a visa, and passed all tests, health, no criminal record etc. He was refused a visa and is not even allowed to visit me in Australia. Therefore I have to travel to his country to visit him every few years when we have saved enough money.
The main reason he was refused was, quote: “he was using me to get into Australia”. Exactly what are the boat people doing?? At least the Australian Government has all the information they need on my husband. What do they know about the people coming here by boat?
