Reply to the ABC’s recent Four Corners documentary with the filming of cruelty to cattle at a slaughterhouse/abbatoir in Indonesia.
No-one could accept the cruelty, and we demand the federal government and the relevant state governments take action with the issue. But you would have to wonder that, given the cruelty has been well-known for a number of years since the export of livestock began, why our governments have been sitting on their hands. If they had done something about it then, perhaps the gruesome, upsetting graphic documentary would have been unnecessary.
