Everyone who attended the Uralla Lantern Parade on Saturday night under a starry sky in the beauty of Alma Park would agree it was a magical and uplifting event that really celebrated the meaning of community in both a local and global sense.
Congratulations to Uralla Arts and Andrew Parker, Thor Bloomfield and the many people involved in making this event the huge success that it was. We all loved the evening and thought the production was the very best yet. The shadow aspect of the production was especially effective and worked brilliantly with the dancers however every aspect of the show was special. What a wonderful way to celebrate Earth Hour!
I believe it is events like this that really demonstrate what is unique about our community and what sets it apart. It is a celebration of culture, of beauty and of life. Thank you all so much.
