While councillors are debating whether to have a referendum at the same time as the next council election in September on the number of councillors the shire should have and if there should be a popularly elected Mayor, a third question should be added to the referendum: “Do you support the building of the Byrrill Creek Dam?”
Whether you are a pro or anti Byrrill Creek Dam supporter, by having a referendum on this issue, it will settle the matter once and for all as the whole community will be given the opportunity to express their views and be heard.
