Audrey Malcolmson’s letter complaining about her rain soaked adventure at the Gold Coast airport – it rains here in December, umbrellas are a must wherever one goes. Why didn’t she take one? It’s very unlikely that heavy chest colds eventuate in this humid and sultry weather, the environment in an aeroplane would more likely dry her and her husband out. Far more likely to have caught their ‘heavy chest colds’ in chilly New Zealand where summer hasn’t arrived yet, or so they tell me.
