The federal Labor Party cannot spend Australian’s taxes in a frugal and responsible way. On ABC-TV last Saturday (15/9) two interesting segments highlighted the fact Labor is just not doing the job.
In Tasmania, potato farmers and others are walking off their farms (giving opportunity to certain informed interests?) because of cheap imports. In another segment, we were informed of the ongoing difficulties (how long has it been?) for Brahman cattle farmers with their faltering exports to Indonesia.
The lack of good management by the Labor Government is now well-known. Australians have generally lost confidence. There are those who make poor decisions and those who make no decisions and a third group who can’t make a decision at all. Which category does the Labor Party belong to?
Their difficulty is they speak well, convincing us of their ability and no more have we seen that than with former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. The voters thought he was the person to lead the country and deluded to believe his assassin Julia Gillard was the one to continue as Australia’s first female PM.
Maybe the hope of more money giveaways?
We are now seeing former dyed-in-the-wool Laborites hanging their heads or looking sideways, even at the mention of their once-great Labor Party.
