Does Mr Torbay take us all to be fools?

So our ‘independent’ state representative, Richard Torbay, aspires to be a National Party Federal representative and justifies this with the assertion that Tony Windsor has damaged the independent brand.
Does Mr Torbay take us all to be fools? He is surely the one who damages the independent brand by joining the National Party for the sake of his personal ambition when he has in fact been elected as an independent.
It seems to me that Tony Windsor has always acted independently even if I have not always agreed with him. I respect the considered and objective way he has exercised his responsibilities and suggest that people have been mistaken to presume that in the circumstances of the hung parliament he should have been predisposed to take anything but an independent view.
