I note with some concern that the Independent (dated 11/1/2012) does not appear to contain a single photograph of Richard Torbay.
Is he alright? What is his current position on gay marriage or coal seam gas extraction? Is he still the Member for Northern Tablelands? How are we to know?
As a long term reader of your fine publication, his conspicuous absence in this issue would appear at loggerheads with your editorial policy of having him appear multiple times in each issue.
Surely you must have an extensive collection of stock images that you could publish should Richard be unavailable for a photo shoot.
The Independent is a wonderful vehicle for maintaining Richard’s profile and political momentum. However, this kind of omission could have damaging ramifications.
I trust this oversight will be rectified quickly and not repeated.
