FIVE men were arrested following drug raids in the West last week.
The raids were conducted simultaneously on eight properties in Braybrook, West Footscray, Cairnlea, St Albans, Deer Park and Delahey on Friday.
Police found commercial quantities of heroin with an estimated street value of $500,000, ICE, methamphetamines and a substantial amount of cash.
The arrests were the culmination of a three-month operation by Footscray criminal investigation unit that included police from Altona North, Geelong and Ballarat.
It was not known if the men had been charged before Star went to press.
