A YARRAVILLE woman is rallying Victorians to protest at Israel’s bombing of Lebanon.
Margarita Windisch, a member of the Socialist Alliance, handed out protest fliers at Footscray Station last Thursday.
She urged people to attend the protest that took place at the State Library at the weekend and to attend the protest organised for July 30.
“That rally calls for Peace and Justice in Palestine and Lebanon and an end to Israel’s war on Lebanon and Palestine,” she said.
Ms Windisch will represent the Socialist Alliance in the November elections for the seat of Footscray.
