TRAFFIC will be affected by partial lane closures in Nicholson St and Droop St in Footscray this weekend.
Barkly St will be closed from midnight on Friday and will reopen on Saturday afternoon. Motorists have also been advised to keep clear of Droop St, with closures expected from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning.
The closures are part of works to construct two stormwater drains and a new water main.
Trams along Droop St will be replaced by buses.
Buses will also be re-routed around the construction site on Barkly and Hopkins streets.
