POLICE arrested a 49-year-old Footscray woman after a stabbing in the suburb on New Year’s Eve.
A 35-year-old man from Bundoora was stabbed in the abdomen area about 11pm near the intersection of Moore and Newell streets.
The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
The woman has been charged with intentionally causing serious injury.
