FOOTSCRAY Community Arts Centre is offering an exciting intensive school holiday program for six to 12-year-olds.
Events will run from Tuesday 23 January to Thursday 25 January. Children can be part of the magic and mayhem in a range of classes given by some of the best artists in Melbourne, including Adam Simmons, Toy Band trombonist Kynan Robinson, VJ (video jockey) Lindsay Cox, animator Isobel Knowles and visual artist Florence “Flossie” Peitsch, as well as puppeteers and hip-hop tutors.
Children are given the chance to create everything from original music and instruments to props, costumes and their own characters. There will also be cartoon, animation and VJing classes on offer.
Children also have the opportunity to continue the fun in ongoing programs at Footscray Community Arts Centre throughout the year.
