A WOMAN taking part in a Gold 104.3 FM promotion outside Ashley St shops in Braybrook was taken to hospital after she was burnt by cooking oil on Sunday.
Rod East, from the fire investigation and analysis unit, Metropolitan Fire Brigade, said a can of cooking oil was kept on an active barbecue.
He said the woman was taking part in a sausage sizzle when the can of oil exploded in flames and sprayed her with hot oil on her face and hands.
She was taken to Western Hospital for treatment.
