A YARRAVILLE man, 35, has been charged with attempted murder over a stabbing incident in Footscray last Tuesday.
A Sunshine man was stabbed in the stomach and chest and was later taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital.
The stabbing took place in the afternoon at a pool hall at the intersection of Victoria and Buckley streets.
The Yarraville man was charged with attempted murder and intentionally and recklessly causing injury.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 9 June.
