THE City of Maribyrnong’s carbon-neutral vision has delivered an honour – the council has been named as a finalist in the United Nations Environmental Awards.
The council is in the local government category for excellence in overall environment management.
The winners will be announced at a World Environment Day presentation dinner to be held early next month at a Melbourne hotel.
