THE State Government’s three-month submission period on Sir Rod Eddington’s East West Link Needs Assessment report closed last Tuesday.
But what happens next?
Department of Transport spokesperson Rebekah Miles said the department received more than 2000 submissions on the report.
“Each of the submissions will be reviewed and considered as part of the Government’s commitment to deliver a comprehensive transport plan for Victoria by the end of the year,” she said.
“The transport plan will respond to proposals for Melbourne’s east-west corridor and other transport priorities across the state.”
