BRAYBROOK Maidstone Neighbourhood House staged a mammoth permablitz over the weekend to transform their backyard into a community garden. Volunteers from BMNH and Permablitz Out West spent all day Saturday planting raised garden beds so that the centre can run educational food classes for people will all abilities. “There’s a huge need for the house to provide an edible garden, so that the community can come along and learn all about worm farming and composting and growing vegies,” Vivienne Conn from the BMNH said. 68913 Picture: JOE MASTROIANNI
