MARIBYRNONG City Council has installed a new public toilet in Coulson Gardens along the Maribyrnong River.
The new, two-cubicle Exeloo toilet has been sited next to a playground on Chifley Drive for the convenience of walkers, cyclists, and families using the play equipment.
The new public toilet replaces an old brick public toilet in Coulson Gardens which was close to the northern end of Navigator St.
“Public toilets are rated as important by the community, and this new block is part of Maribyrnong City Council’s commitment to providing better community facilities,” Mayor John Cumming said.
The existing public toilet is expected to be demolished soon.
