WATER saving showerheads have gone postal.
City West Water customers can make free showerhead exchanges out of 22 inner and western suburbs Australia Post outlets.
City West Water Managing Director Anne Barker said the Australia Post showerhead exchange facility has been set to give customers a quick and convenient way to swap their showerheads when visiting the post office.
“The showerhead exchange has been made as easy as possible – customers just need to bring their old showerhead and a completed exchange form, available from our website, to the exchange location to receive a new water saving showerhead,” she said.
Old-style showerheads can use up to 20 litres per minute, while a 3-star showerhead uses only nine.
Ms Barker said that installing a 3-star water saving showerhead can help household finances by saving on the cost of water and cutting hot water bills.
The showerhead exchange operates out of the Australia Post outlets at Braybrook’s Central West Plaza and in Yarraville.
