THE new Caroline Springs police station will open to the public on 8 October.
Police, ambulance and fire service units will display an emergency response vehicle, a police communications van and a prison van.
Police rock band Code One will be on hand, as will members of the Victoria Police Air Wing, Water Police, Major Collision Investigation Unit and Historical Society.
The State Emergency Service, Metropolitan Ambulance Service and Country Fire Authority will give jaws of life and LPG flare-off demonstrations.
The event will run from 9am to 3pm at the new police station and Caroline Square Shopping Centre. Call the station on 9361 4700 for more information.
