SIX young musicians have a clear ear for rhythm.
The Brimbank-based accordion players competed at the Australian International Accordion Festival earlier this month, winning first and second prizes in different categories.
Music teacher Emica Curio from Delahey, who has professionally played accordion for 20 years and is an Associate in Music Australia, said the students played with passion.
“They play together, which they have more fun,” she said.
“When they go out and play somewhere it gives them something to work towards.”
The group will be playing at a concert on 2 July at the Austrian Club in West Heidelberg.
