THE 2008 under 15 R.M. Hatch Shield is only a week away, and for Sunshine, the tournament is a chance to avenge last year’s abysmal offerings.
In 2007 the team failed to win any matches.
The fortnight-long tournament is the representative teenage equivalent of the Victorian Sub District Cricket Association and is run mid-January each year.
It is played out in 50-over one-day matches, with all games starting at 10.20am.
