FOOTBALL and cricket clubs in Hillside will have more room when upgrades to the Hillside Recreation Reserve community pavilion are completed this Friday.
Both the Sydenham-Hillside Sharks Football Club and the Sydenham-Hillside Cricket Club have been growing in membership, and it was evident an upgrade was needed, Melton mayor Justin Mammarella said.
Pavilion users will now be able to make use of a larger change space with purpose-built change rooms, a larger community room and improved accessibility.
There are also plans to include a fitness track and activity stations, as well as for a car park upgrade.
