A 33-YEAR-OLD Deer Park motorcyclist died after his bike smashed into a pole on the Western Highway late last Tuesday night.
Police blocked off the Western Highway between Station Rd and Miles St to clear the scene after police say the motorcyclist ran off the road about 11.50pm on 13 February, and hit a metal pole. Late night traffic was distrupted.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner, which is due to be completed this week.
The rider’s name has not been released.
