Cancer talk made easier

A PUPPET show educating children about cancer and leukaemia will visit St Albans schools next week.
The McDonald’s Camp Quality puppet show aims to reduce the risk of teasing, fear and ostracism when a child who has suffered cancer returns to school.
The show features Kylie, who is bald after chemotherapy, and Matthew who has had a leg amputated after bone cancer.
Two other puppets, Dean and Melissa, are Kylie’s school friends, and are unsure how to respond to her now she has returned.
The puppet show will visit St Albans North and St Albans East primary schools next Tuesday.
