The estate will be built on a 44-hectare site bordered by Robertson and Foleys roads, at a cost of $21.5 million.
Devine’s Victorian regional manager, Sean Lefoe, said home and land packages would range from $230,000 to $400,000.
“The aim is to create a modern, dynamic residential community in harmony with its surroundings and constructed to ecologically sustainable parameters,” Mr Lefoe said.
The first stage of the development is scheduled for August.
Mr Lefoe said the area would receive a further $265 million from the Federal Government program for infrastructure and retail expansion.
This is the largest project Devine has undertaken, Mr Lefoe said.
Mr Lefoe saidThe estate will also be supported by Brimbank City Council, which is planning to spend $30 million on capital works, including leisure facilities.
