THIS week’s nominations for the Western Region Cricket Centre cricketer of the month are as follows:

Daniel Davies (Spotswood – VTCA) 82
Rob Morgan (Taylors Lakes – NWCA) 69.
THE Western Region Cricket Centre cricketer of the month, selected at the end of each month, will receive four net sessions valued at $240 and a 20 per cent discount on anything at the centre, in Geelong Rd, Brooklyn.
Star will publish up to four senior grade players from the western suburbs per week who have been the stand-out performers.
Each weekly nominee will receive two free net sessions.
All will then be in the running for the cricketer of the month, from whom an eventual Cricketer of the Year will be selected.
