MOTORISTS using the Western Ring Road may find themselves a little inconvenienced over the next eight weeks, with resurfacing roadworks set to change traffic conditions from Monday, 12 March, until 30 April.
Most of the roadwork will be carried out between 8pm and 5am (Monday – Saturday), and between 6am and 4pm on Sundays.
The speed limit will be reduced to 40 km/h at the roadworks, which include the following sections:
West Gate Freeway off-ramp to Boundary Road on-ramp
St Albans Road underpass to Western Highway
Melrose Drive underpass to Moonee Ponds Creek
North of Boundary Road to West Gate Freeway
Moonee Ponds Creek to Calder Highway off-ramp
