A HILLSIDE man was admitted to hospital with head injuries after a jet skier tried to jump over a boat in which the 36-year-old man was sitting.
Police and paramedics were called to Melton Weir off Coburns Rd last Thursday after the jet skier tried to jump over the stern of the boat in which the man was located.
The jet ski rider fled and police failed to locate him.
The injured man was released from the Royal Melbourne Hospital last Friday.
