Developer responds

DENNIS Family Group representatives will attend next month’s Burnside-Burnside Heights and Friends Community Group (BBHFCG) meeting.
The community group’s vice-president Nathan Miles said the developer had confirmed representatives would attend the 9 August meeting at Stevenson House to address concerns raised by the group.
He said this followed the July meeting which Melton Shire Council mayor Justin Mammarella, deputy mayor Renata Cugliari and Cambridge Ward councillor Garry Stock attended.
The Melton councillors addressed the maintenance and repair concerns raised by the community group which were the responsibility of the council.
Mr Miles said more than 25 people attended the July meeting and they were satisfied with the council’s answers.
He said the graffiti at Earlington Square Park, featured in the photograph published in The Star on 10 July, had been painted over by council staff.
