A RETIRED Sunshine couple recently won more than $2.5 million in Tattslotto.
The couple’s winning numbers came up on 16 September.
According to a Tattslotto spokesperson, the married couple had been playing Tattslotto for 17 years but changed their numbers every 10 weeks to a combination of those they thought had been lucky or unlucky in the previous 10 weeks.
The couple did not want to be identified.
“My wife and I saw the winning numbers on TV on Saturday night and we realised straightaway that they would change our life,” the husband said. “I always thought that one day in the future we would win Tattslotto and last Saturday was that day. Our dream came true.
“We will help our family in different ways, but we will also invest a lot of the money.”
The winning entry was bought from Win A Lot Lotto in Footscray.
