Imagine helping out

BRIMBANK City Council is seeking expressions of interest from residents to attend an all-day workshop which will be the final step in the first phase of consultation to develop the Brimbank Community Plan.
The workshop, called Imagine Brimbank!, is scheduled for 24 May.
Brimbank mayor Sam David said the council was seeking expressions of interest from all sections of the community, including young people, seniors, cultural groups, educational institutions, health and community service organisations, business, recreation organisations, commerce and industry groups and other government agencies.
“The purpose of Imagine Brimbank! is to gather 100 people from across the municipality to help in the creation of a shared community and council vision that will play a key role in council’s strategic planning for the next 20 years,” Cr David said.
To register an interest in attending the workshop, an expression of interest form will have to be completed by 4pm on 15 May. To obtain a form call 9249 4383 or email communityplanning@brimbank.vic.gov.au from www.brimbank.vic.gov.au by following the prompt on the homepage or by clicking on Community Consultation and Community Plan – Have Your Say.
