A little

SUNSHINE police officers were amazed no-one was injured when a car crashed through the glass windows of the Sunshine Plaza on Thursday.
Senior Constable Paul Antonello said the male driver of the car had gone to turn left from the car park at around 12.30pm when he accelerated too hard, panicked and then pressed the accelerator instead of the brake.
Sen Const Antonello said the car had hit two bollards and bounced off a stationary parked car before smashing through the glass windows and coming to a halt at an escalator.
“No-one was injured which was very lucky. If it had been a Saturday or a Sunday afternoon there would have been shoppers everywhere and it could have been a very different story,” he said.
The 27-year-old driver of the vehicle was uninjured but his car was a write-off.
Sen Const Antonello said the man was a new Australian and did not have a Victorian driver’s licence.
