Chocolate bar bandit

A ROBBER unsuccessful in stealing cash from a Kings Park service station last week made a last-minute grab for chocolate bars as he fled the Kings Rd store.
It is believed the man entered a service station on Kings Rd armed with a pair of scissors and demanded cash from the male attendent.
When the attendant refused, a scuffle broke out before the offender ran out of the store, making a grab for chocolate bars on a stand as he exited.
The dog squad was called in to track the offender and by 4am he was locating hiding near an address in Atheldene Drive, not far from the service station.
The 18-year-old Kings Park resident was arrested and taken to the Keilor Downs Police station for questioning.
