Men assaulted at train station

TWO men were assaulted and had their belongings stolen at Sunshine Railway Station on Thursday night.
Police believe a group of four to six men approached three men walking home from the station on Anderson Rd about 10.30pm and demanded their wallets and mobile phones.
One 26-year-old man gave the assailants two mobile phones and fled, while the other two men, aged 24 and 27, were bashed and had their mobile phones stolen.
Detectives from the Region 2 Embona Taskforce have been appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The offenders have been described as having a dark complexion. The main offender has been described as about 23 years old, of dark complexion, about 178cm tall, skinny build, black curly hair and wearing a grey hooded jumper and black jeans.
