A SERIAL sex offender was jailed for a year after exposing himself in Deer Park last month.
Keilor Downs man Gabriel Romanos was arrested after police received several complaints about a man walking naked through streets and bushland.
The 43-year-old stole women’s lingerie from a clothesline before being captured by Sunshine police officers.
Romanos was a serial flasher who had clocked up more than 50 convictions for similar offences.
In July last year Romanos was given a nine-month intensive corrections order after running naked through the streets of Doncaster, Hawthorn, Canterbury and Balwyn wearing nothing but his shoes. A four-year-old girl was among witnesses to the incident.
He appeared in the Sunshine Magistrates’ court late last month charged with loitering in a public place frequented by children and loitering near a school while a convicted sex offender.
He was also convicted of theft and two counts of wilful and obscene exposure.
