VICTORIA University student Liam Adams sprinted home and beat a Commonwealth Games champion to take out the annual City2Surf fun run earlier this month. Mr Adams, 24, completed the 14-kilometre course in 41 minutes and 11 seconds. He was back at VU’s Footscray Park campus the next day to write an exam.
