Werribee cafe in

WERRIBEE’S Raffael Café has been recognised as the top in its field in the state by the Restaurant and Catering Association of Victoria for a second time.
Chef and partowner Raffey Nackashian said it was surprising the threeyearold cafe, which won the 2003 Association Award of Excellence, had managed to regain the title this year.
When he opened the cafe next to the Cultural Centre in 2002, Raffey’s vision was to establish a Europeanstyle cafe.
He wanted modern, Meditteraneanstyle cuisine, coupled with a wide selection of wine, and unparalleled coffee in the heart of town.
The cafe will compete for the Association’s national title in midOctober.
