11 face court again on sex charges

The youths had their first hearing adjourned last Friday so their lawyers could review evidence.
Tony Hannebery, one of the boy’s lawyers, said the next hearing would be a contest mention.
“Some of them may plead guilty or not guilty, the evidence is tested, and the judge determines how long a trial – if there is one – could take,” he said.
A DVD of the alleged assault, which occurred last June, was sold for $5 in western suburbs schools, and posted on the Internet.
Excerpts showing the boys throwing eggs at local taxi drivers, hoon driving, harassing a homeless man and carousing at teenage parties were also shown on TV.
