HEATHER Marcus has placed many feathers in the welldecorated hat she wears as both a professional and volunteer events organiser.
Wyndham’s 2003 Citizen of the Year, Ms Marcus is best known as the driving force behind Wyndham’s well loved Weerama Festival for the past 20 years.
She has also launched the Victorian DanceSport Championships and the Victorian Fashion Awards.
Her passion for working with young people is reflected in the scores of debutante balls, young idol competition and aerosol art contests she has organised.
“I want to bring the Council back to the people, especially our youth who deserve the very best.”
