WYNDHAM residents will pull on their thinking caps to help raise money for Warringa Park School and perhaps set an Australian record at the same time.
Organisers for Australia’s Biggest Ever Trivia and Games Night hope to beat a national record and gather more than 584 brains next month.
Last year, the event raised nearly $15,000 when more than 500 participants took part.
School principal Cliff Palmer said the school hoped to raise at least the same amount this year.
Funds will be used to buy special equipment for the school’s 200 intellectually disabled students who come from across the western suburbs.
The event will be held on 5 August at the Wyndham Leisure and Events Centre from 6.30pm. Tables of 10 are $10 per person.
