MORE than 200 students from across Victoria enjoyed an action-packed program on the environment during the inaugural International Youth Coastal Conference last week.
Pictured here are students from St Albans Secondary College at Werribee’s Western Treatment Plant.
Event organiser Arron Wood said adults took a back seat to the Years five to 11 students who identified coastal and environmental issues important to them.
Some of the issues the students tackled included creating sustainable seafood, helping sharks and turtles in trouble and marketing recycled water.
