HOPPERS Crossing Secondary College students’ revived some ‘old skool’ techniques as the country’s 2006 National Hip-Hop Champions swept through Wyndham last week.
Canberra-based group, Kulture Break, toured 13 Wyndham schools promoting self-esteem, healthy living and positive values.
“The response has been fantastic, all the students are getting involved and we’re teaching them all the positive parts of dance,” said dancer Francis Owusu.
Southland Christian Centre’s youth division, Xtreme Life, in Hoppers Crossing ran the tour.
Kulture Break will tour Victoria in September, sponsored by Youth Ablaze Victoria.
