Search on for hotel operator

SANCTUARY Lakes developers are looking for a company to build a new boutique-style hotel on the estate.
Ron Smith, spokesman for the developer, LinksLiving, said a hotel had always been part of a master plan for Sanctuary Lakes.
Land has been reserved between the tennis courts and the lake for a low-rise hotel or serviced apartments.
Adjoining retail outlets and a conference centre are also being considered for the hotel precinct.
LinksLiving have called for expressions of interest from a national hotel operator to build and manage the proposed development.
“We’re OK on golf courses but we’re looking for an operator with national experience to help us with the rest,” he said.
Mr Smith said the hotel would help fill a gap in the West for a high-quality conference centre and up-market accommodation.
Sanctuary Lakes was first established in 1998 as the West’s first resort-style neighbourhood.
It now has about 4000 residents.
